Maksim Grinberg, a leading New York Jewish philanthropist who hails from Moldova, has donated to JDC, the leading global Jewish humanitarian organization, to help Jews in need in Ukraine.
“I am proud to be able to help the Jewish community in Ukraine during this difficult time,” Maksim Grinberg said. “JDC is doing amazing work on the ground and I am happy to support their efforts.”
JDC is working tirelessly to provide much-needed assistance to Jews in Ukraine who are facing difficult times. The organization is providing food, medical supplies, and other essential items to those in need.
“When you are cowering from the booms and flinching at the sound of breaking glass,” Director of Hesed Michael Social Welfare Center Elena Proskurnja said. “You need to focus on something that is so pure and so good that it outshines the darkness of conflict and fear.”
